Client Testimonial

Personal Training TestimonialHaving a Personal trainer means different things to people. For me it was years of incorrect exercise and all the wrong nutritional information that made me decide to go with Aidan Carroll.

Choosing the right trainer makes all the difference, I had to believe in the goal and at the same time it had to be ideal and realistic. From the start having an experienced voice really can point you in the right direction.

The first meeting with Aidan involved in-dept look at my overall exercise regime or lack thereof and what I ate on a daily basis. Aidan provided me with a complete new daily diet plan together with regular contact through emails or texts if I had any queries.

Changing the routine I had for a long time to this new healthy one was hard to adapt to at first and it took time to adjust. The exercise routine was hard at times and I know I would not have stuck this without the motivation and push from Aidan, his approach and enthusiasm to train with made all the difference in achieving my overall goal. With the information I have learned now I am putting into practice and will continue to do so in the future."

How Did Paul Achieve His Results?

Paul Gaffney achieved his results in 16 personal training sessions, each session lasted 40 to 50 minutes. Paul was given a diet which was based on a daily intake of 65% protein, 25% complex carbohydrate and 10% essential fats.

The eating plan included all the foods Paul likes to eat. Results like Paul's will only be achieved and more importantly maintained by eating foods we like to eat. One thing I tell all my clients is DIETS DON'T WORK.

When I first meet a client, part of our initial consultation is to get information on the client's eating habits. When this is done clients are always surprised when I tell them I will not be asking them to avoid or eliminate any food group, that includes the goodies! they always look surprised.

Look at it this way- if I was to insist that you must never eat carbs, or sweets or crisps or whatever, how would this sound? Well you may think, OK I will give it a go, then ask yourself how long can you adhere to this? a few weeks maybe? a few months at best and then your cravings get the better of you and you give in. This is why diets don't work. Moderation is the key.

We all know people who, when offered a cup of tea and a biscuit will react with OH NO I am on a diet! Anything we do to extreme will have it's disadvantages, this includes diet and exercise.

I tell my clients to have your cup of tea and your biscuit, but have one or 2 at most, will this undo all your hard work? NO it won't, no more than treating yourself once a week with a bag of crisps, or a chocolate bar or whatever you look forward to.

I never eliminate any foods unless my client has an allergy or a intolerance to a particular food.

Think about that, being able to achieve the physique you've always wanted without having to eat rabbit food. It can be done and Paul is proof of this.Look at the results below which where achieved in just 16 personal training sessions.

Paul also lost 3 1/2 inches off his abdominal's and increased his chest 1 1/2 inches and also increased each his biceps 1 inch
