Many people suffer with cellulite. These are the cottage cheese-like dimples that are usually most evident in the hip, bum and thigh area. What I always recommend is to do two weeks on a detox diet and then make BIG changes to your training routine. Individuals who train intensely for short periods (anaerobic) tend to have fewer problems with cellulite than most.
Before you begin any exercise (particularly anaerobic) always consult your GP for advice and a full check -up. Many trainers (including myself) recommend intense anaerobic exercise like weightlifting and sprint type activities to increase the stimulation of fast-twitch muscle fibers, which help remove cellulite.
I never recommend cardio training at night. If you do cardio training at night, you will still burn calories, but you fail to take advantage of the after-burn effect because your metabolic rate drops dramatically as soon as you go to sleep.
Many studies I have conducted showed that my clients burned a kilogram (2.2lbs) or more of fat sooner when they exercised in a fasted (empty stomach) state in the morning then when they did it later in the day or evening.
